Reading Space

So this is the chair I refurbished. In it's new home along with a great find at goodwill for $15 I got the amazing table.. I really like my new space for reading and Hubby can use it to for his laptop this way when insomnia hits we can still be in the same room together without waking the other. Looking forward to many nights of reading.

Fuckin Perfect

 I have fallen in love with this song. I truly should be an anthem for all people but especially girls. I had a hard time as a teenager and this song makes me proud of who I am and that I got through what I did.. Pink is an amazing artist she truly is a mentor for me. Sometimes the songs feel as though they were written for me. She is a great role model and inspiration. So thank you Pink for making it ok to just be me.,. Sexy, fun, loud and crazy. elegant and spunky. She has a grace and nonjudgmental way of life. She may be famous but is still very real. Her music speaks volumes. And like her they range from sweet, powerful, funny, sexy and plain in your face I am who I am. She is a timeless artist and I am glad that my 9yr daughter loves her to the messages of strong women in control but still caring is a great message. Her music has not turned into a pure sexual montage like so many have she allows herself and us as consumers to be able to feel and reflect on more than sex..

I had found this chair a year ago in the trash and knew it could be beautiful once again. My baby brother helped me pick out the fabric and trim. I over stuffed the seat portion so it will be a super comfortable reading chair. I am very proud that I reupholster it. It looks better than I imagined...

Red Glass

So today while searching for good deals at 2nd hand shops with my awesome Mom.. She found this red glass. Now the thing about that is I love red glass it's the ones from avon it is super hard to find and when you do usually one piece can cost over 25 dollars. My Mom gave me hers that my Dad bought her long ago and I have been trying to get more. Then today my miracle we found over 100 pieces of avon red glass in perfect condition which usually would cost about 2000 dollars on ebay but I got it all for 80 dollars Jolby let me buy it. I am so happy beyond words. Then he said he would build me a curio for it all... I love my Apollo and My Mom and now thanx to them both I have a set of china I have wanted since I was a child...

FINALLY

So after a month and a half of hubby's phone being gone Best buy has given me the resolution that is very satisfying after all I have been through up to this point. Hubby will be getting a new phone today... And we will be receiving a gift card for all the aggravation and crap I have been put through. I do however find it amusing that it took the female manager on duty on Valentines Day of all days to listen and understand and get it done. Just goes to show why women should be mangers for the public..,.

My Apollo

This is the love of my life, my rock , my world, my soul mate.. To love him more each day I have is a precious gift that I will be eternally grateful for.. There are no words in the universe that explain what he means to me. I would do and will do anything for him at the drop of a hat.. HE is MY APOLLO....

The Call back

So the women at GSRI called me back today and she is gonna push for Kensy to at least get a response which is good.. And the other issues I was having about the direct cookie sales is being looked into the women I spoke to understood where I was coming from and is going to speak to the cookie director about it. And she even confirmed that the direct sale that happened was inappropriate and shouldn't have taken place so hopefully when all this is done the West Warwick troops she get what they need to be able to participate in the direct sales which is all I wanted.. Things are looking up... I will keep you posted with the end result.
